Receta-Arroz de secreto ibérico con manzana caramelizada

Hello rice lovers, this recipe is very nice if you want to surprise somebody who loves foods with a sweet touch, with this rice you will have guaranteed success . Let’s do it.
  • 1 pound of rice
  • 1 cut of Iberian secret
  • 1 apple
  • 4 ounces vegetable broth
  • ½ can apple juice
  • 3 ounces extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tomato
  • Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • Sweet pepper
  1. First grab the apple, cut it in big slices and put it in a saucepan with a dash of apple juice and a little bit of sugar. Let’s caramelized it and put it aside in another plate.
  2. Pour the oil in the paella, distribute it and turn on the heat to medium power.
  3. Add the Iberian secret that we have previously cut in stripes, cook it very well and remove to a plate.
  4. Add a teaspoon of sweet pepper, stir for a few seconds and next add the grated tomato. Stir-fry until is dark red.
  5. Now add the rice and stir-fry all together mixing all the ingredients.
  6. Pour the vegetable broth and add a dash of apple juice, turn up the heat to maximum power and leave it like that for the first 5 minutes.
  7. The following 5 minutes lower down the heat to medium power, add the slices of caramelized apple and the stripes of Iberian secret, taste the salt and fix it if necessary.
  8. Now lower the heat to the minimum and leave it like that 5 more minutes.
  9. Let it sit and it’s ready to eat.
  10. Have a great meal!
